Alexandra has deep experience in venture capital and also in business journalism. She also acts as a Venture Partner at Loyal VC, a global venture capital fund with investments in over 350 companies across industry sectors, where she advises portfolio companies and is a member of the follow-on investment committee. Her role at Loyal VC spans strategy, deal sourcing, valuation and portfolio management.

She previously spent over a decade as an editor and business and finance correspondent for The Economist, where she drove growth of the publication’s online presence, established its Milan desk, and reported from four continents.

Alexandra graduated from Cambridge University in 2005 with a BA in History and holds an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and an MBA from INSEAD business school.
