Richard is a corporate financier with over two decades of experience, having advised on $20bn of transactions across M&A, equity and debt.
Richard began his banking career with 13 years at UBS, NM Rothschild and Deutsche Bank advising large companies on M&A, capital raising and strategic issues across the technology, media, telecoms, energy and utilities sectors.
In 2016, he set up his own business working with mid-sized fast-growing companies, advising on M&A, capital raising and group strategy. His work often involves companies which employ newer technologies across multiple industries. He also sits on the advisory board of a leading family office helping them to invest in private companies.
He is a guest lecturer at London Business School, has taught corporate finance to executives and MBA students for over a decade and runs in-house training programmes for leading international corporates.
Richard graduated from Oxford University in 2001 with a top first-class honours degree in Economics and Management and holds a Masters in Finance from London Business School. Since 2008, he has been an independent member of the endowment investment committee of Hertford College, Oxford.
